The gut is often referred to as the "second brain" of the body. It is largely responsible for our immune function. It's the place where food is broken down into usable nutrients, where toxins are removed and where many important hormones are produced. Bloating, gas, constipation, and immune disorders are all symptoms of poor gut health. Gut Check soothes and repairs inflammation in the stomach.
Glutamine - the most abundant amino acid in the intestinal wall. Helps repair the lining and reduce inflammation...even from Crohn's, colitis and celiac disease.
Inulin - a powerhouse fiber that the body is unable to digest. It moves through the colon intact and feeds the good bacteria there, particularly Bifidobacteria and Lactobacilli. These bacteria help fend off unwanted pathogens (bad bacteria), prevent infection and stimulate the immune system.
Aloe Vera Leaf Gel - an anti-oxidant that provides inflammatory aid to the gut. Also supports a healthy microbiome.
Deglycyrnizinated Licorice - helps to heal peptic ulcers. It has been shown in studies to be safer and more effective than drugs or antacids.
